means knowing that body and mind are suffering, so you end attachment.

When there is mindfulness with the body, if we feel it for a short while, we'll soon see suffering. The body is nothing but suffering. With mindfulness, knowing the mind, before long, we'll see that the mind is suffering. There's suffering there all the time. Watch and observe. When you know suffering, whenever it arises, that's letting go right there. We're attached to the body because we see it as something good, as something wholesome. As we have mindfulness and feel within the body, we see the body is suffering, and our love for it decreases. Until one day, we no longer hold onto the body. Then, move on to observe the mind. See the mind as suffering, and it's the same. It's like when you know suffering, that's when you let go." This passage discusses the process of letting go by recognizing that both the body and mind are sources of suffering. By observing and understanding this suffering, one can release attachment to them, leading to liberation. The practice of mindfulness is emphasized in this process.
